both are kind of shit games if you ask me. i thought literally _no-one_ liked mortal online. eve's fun for pvp and in terms of depth and originality, it's actually its own game unlike all but few MMO's on the market. not to mention how "meaningful" it is, its biggest fights are for conquerable space (worth a LOT) between fleets of thousands of player ships, if one blows up, the ship's gone forever. there are ships worth thousands of dollars, too. then again it's also called spreadsheets online and that's likely the part of it people will see before getting into anything fun, it's a waiting game. in other words it's not a game for the theme park MMO players who need to chase the dragon of instant gratification every five minutes, it's a bit more sophisticated in both good and bad.
