Anyway, clunky combat... yea possibl-- no you are again basing opinions of of low level, but trying to explain this is fruitless.
Also a note, you can only solo BAMS of your level if you are good. World bosses and dungeon bosses of your level are an entirely different story.
And rift is not good, at all. For a "next gen" mmo from 2011 it did little more to move the genre forward. Increased graphics and an emphasis on small world events is what it did differently. But then the emphasized small world events constantly get nerfed due to fewer and fewer people in the game.
And Aion, really. You had to bring up that game. That game was one of the biggest piles of failure ever to be localized, which it wasn't. A straight through and through translation and it was packaged and sold. Nothing else was done to make it more appealing to this market. It remains popular over seas, like Tera, due to its RNG and grind, while Tera remains popular for actually doing something different.
And basing your opinions after watching streams is terrible. Play the game, do the second dungeon especially the last boss. It gets harder and harder, and faster paced as you go.
