ya i thought of rift but i heard so many mixed things about it
I am currently a new player to rift, I got to 50 and am doing dungeons like WoW.
The instances are about alike to cata heroics in WoW although the bosses are "harder"
it is a good skill tree system, not at all complicated... which it seems to. You spend points for perks for abilities and can gain some by putting a point into them. As you go further into at spells unlock with "x" amount of points spent going all the way to 51... but most of the 51 point abilities don't do enough to fill the entire tree and you gain so much more by going into another tree.
Like atm I am a 35/31 spec on my mage.
character customization could use some work for a 2011 game, but the character models are clean, nice, and my kelari female mage is sexy..... not creepy...
Rifts, while repetitive are a great way to waste time while waiting for other things like world events that give special currencies. While leveling rifts give you some nice exp and world events are practically a free level in 20-30 mins.
I haven't raided, likely going to look for a different server because mine has few raiders... but rift is no 10 million people+
Games fun so far, worth the 30$ to play for just a month as most games are 60 and single player or a fps you drop 60$ on to play seriously for a few weeks.
