Star Wars: The Old Republic

Getting released in 3 months and it'll be the next big thing, trust me, not just another random mmo. Also if you like quests you'll love this game since every quest is like a cut-scene with voice-over (EVERY NPC and even your own char have voice-overs) and you make choices during the dialogues which will change the outcome of the rest of the game for you story-wise. If you played a BioWare single player game you know what I'm talking about, since they're the creators of this mmo. Of course you can skip these cut scenes by pressing space if you get bored in the long run, but I promise that you won't.

oh did I mention that the graphics are similar to WoW but heavily improved and more detailed.

Yes, you can create an account on the website and sign up for the beta. Although the chances of getting in are pretty slim, but definitely worth a shot. There's a lot of information around on those forums and other places if you can just bother to look it up. If you pre-order the game you'll get into the game few days earlier than the official launch. How much earlier you get in has not been revealed yet, but my guess is that it's 3-7 days.

No games are free even the free-to-play games. The only difference is free-to-play games have in game shops where people spend large amount of money to get top notch equipment, and if you aren't spending the same amount you really cannot compete.
