Hello fellow Warcraftplayers i'am looking for some nice RPG maps with -Save/-Load System.

Following things should NOT be in the RPG

- Hacking of any kind
- Easy faceroll the whole game
- Overpowered items that let you win the game (there can be good items but it shouldnt be like - Oh hey look i got this item now i 1 shot everything)
- If not in english with a guide/forum to check infos
- Grinding 1 spot all time long


I used to play TKoK RPG for a very long time but since the playerbase is fading very fast you nowadays wait 2 hours for a game to start. I really like the difficulty of TKoK where you actually have to have a brain to play it - calculate skilltree with different elexirs and equipps, move properly to not get owned by bosses and play as a team. I made a TKoK post some months ago but sadly not much players were up to the challange and quit shortly after.

That's why i am looking for some more common RPGs that are fun to play - they don't need to have a big player base - but they have to be kinda challenging.

In challenging i mean:
- Crafting system
- Not beaten in 1 session (takes more time to finish char/map)
- Bosses (ideally with mechanics for the players to evade or counterspell or what ever)
- Different classes (ideally with different build possibilities)
- Not to be soloed (Map that needs at least 2 players to finish it)
- I don't mind a rough starting phase

RPGs i liked:

TKoK ORPG
Dark Lineage Owen 003
Tr1NiTY's RPG
COT RPG (even though it had kinda "i win items")

There are some more but i don't remember the names.

I would really appreciate some suggestions or even players that want to play one of the above maps together. Thanks in advance for any usefull comments.

the only rpg not from your list that comes to my mind is TBR (the black road). I recently came back to War3 to play custom maps such as rpgs, tags and td/tw

i now played like 40 different rpg and sadly 99% are crap :/ still looking

u're too picky. go play regular rpg game and dont expect god knows what from a warcraft map

Defiance ORPG used to be great, but noone's played it in years. Pretty sure it died off, but it was definitely one of the few RPGs that I've enjoyed

I would suggest, without reading your ridiculous list, masin orpg / tbr / the world rpg in that order. then forlorn, age of chaos, dacia, and teve.

You'll need to man up and grind on masin rpg as there's several thousand levels and 4 job tiers, and then you have to raid for gear upgrades, but that's probably the most active 3.

Thanks for the hints - list isnt ridiculous since there are maps like this but the communities are small because they are hard and the trashnoob nowadays wont play it because he prefers milk from mama. I'll check out ur suggestions - thanks

Most preferably i would love a good group for TKoK since i believe that it is the most advanced one (personal view dont argue with me) - TKoK is going to be a standalone rpg under construction
