Last I checked there's still people playing custom games

But nowadays it's mostly host bots, and only the more popular games fill up. It's nowhere near like how it was 6 years ago when every custom game no matter what the game was almost instantly filled

games still up, the bots make it posible to connect all severs, so eu, na and asia can play:-)
theres also some ladder game active on bnet & private server wc3 arena!
