I've-played-RTS-games-all-my-life-and-am-pro-at-Age-of-empires-2-and-a-few-other-titles.

Vs-them-I-destroy-them-in-1v1s,-however-I-am-struggling-vs-the-bots-even-on-easy-mode...--I-can-only-beat-them-on-normal/easy-if-I-tower-rush-or-tech-rush.--Is-there-a-reason-the-AI-is-kicking-my-ass-so-badly?

Even-with-a-higher-lvl-hero-and-larger-mixed-army,-I-get-slaughtered.--Massing-towers-doesn't-even-stop-them-but-for-a-brief-3-seconds.

And-some-how-their-heroes-level-up-killing-my-towers.

I-creep-more-than-half-the-map-and-their-hero-will-be-around-5-when-I-first-see-them.

Any-help-or-tips-at-all-would-be-great.--

PS:-my-APM-averages-around-250s-to-300s.

Hard tp say without replay but be more aggressive and dont let your units die and micro well..

The bot builds faster and geta either 20 or 40 gold while u grt 10 xd

where is your count coming from, for this is TOP LEVEL.

The only AI which should kick your ass at "insane" is AMAI. I can tower rush an AMAI on very specific maps when they play NE and win. Other than that it requires seriously good micro, or even necrowagonning to a good level. I could probably beat 3x normal "insane" AI's teamed against me cos in general they walk into towers like tards and it would be exp crazy. Harass the heck out of one so it becomes 2v1. Even then 1 of them is likely to help their ally whom you're harassing with air/zeppelin.


Seriously, i dont care about it being replays against AI, chuck me a few. I seriously doubt you're at 240 apm, excluding at the first minute of the game where you spam to get you clicking fast so you're ready for when it's actually needed.
The next question is how often do you return to town? for undead it should be never against AI. Harass and creeping is simply cos DK just coils everything as well as ridiculous hp regen from aura/blight item/statues.


I would also like to make a note Undead has a different playstyle to most races. Fast tech is generally used which isn't so useful versus ai, but they're also very focused on hero levels and picking units off (possibly why you're having issue's against AI is you're fighting army vs army, it should be hero nukes + ranged attacks pick off a unit, retreat, repeat). Note this is very difficult against other undeads, seeing coil obviously wont work.

Orc is a lot lot better race for army versus army, seeing the blademaster has ridiculous dps, all he needs is an invuln pot +dps and sh with a mana pot + heal scroll 2 walkers for spirit link and disenchant if needed, kodo + raiders + grunts to fill up the rest.

Will also give you a far more accurate APM, i'll then be able to see creep patterns, micro errors, general macro errors etc.

I would bet money i could beat AI insane with that on all 4 races. Night elf would be easiest, Human second easiest is not easiest cos AI has no clue against DR, orc is also easy with heroes as used. Undead would be the most annoying, but i reckon i'd still manage it.


One thing to watch for my replays: my gold count. Exceedingly rarely above 400. Usually less than 150. This is generally pretty key to playing quickly. I feel most new players fail on this out of all things more than anything else.
