If you have the tides of darkness disk then you need to use separate multiplayer server like kali or HEAT. The battle.net version is required to be able to log into battle.net.

Do you have access to that version?

I'd rather have someone to play with.

check some youtube fpvods of warcraft 2 and see if it looks interesting. It's quite cheap to get now so that's not a problem.
