I want to test Phoenix in single player and get some item builds and just generally learn to play it. But on the maps I have the npcs seem to work, they don't choose characters for themselves...

Does anyone know how to play Phoenix against npc on single player?

I downloaded one that said like 72.2f ai but it didn't work. I found another one now that works but the phoenix icon is different, not sure if that matters though(?)

Now I just gotta try get hotkeys to work. Using Fire Spirits is like impossible without the hotkeys lol

Mana boots is good

soul ring is viable for laning (you can heal back damage done)

from there standard caster items are good

Shiva's can be good for slowing everybody in an aoe, and then ulting so they can't escape

u can play him as tank too
with HoT if needed Pipe and Jangoo (drums) with aura dunno the right name atm

I tried with Power Treads swapping to int when needed mp recovery then back to str, then I got HoT, then I got Linkin Sphere then tried to get Butterfly but game was over. I didn't do very good in it.. The npc on my own team don't understand that they supposed to defend me while I use ulti then own the enemy when they stunned lol.

I'll try a few more times I guess.

Sun ray is so hard to control, I got about 6 kills with it, but most of the time the guys can easily escape.

I can't get the hotkeys working either =\ Does anyone know how to get it to work? I did a hotkey gen, put the customkey.txt in my wc3 folder, go in game press f5 to turn it on but it doesn't turn on. Do I need a 3rd party program or something to use hotkeys? I just want my spells on q w e r

npc are stupid play online on some bots best is apem at start...
if u are not good dont care about u have to learn like everybody else too.
if ppl blame u for beeing "bad" just go on and play more and more.
play often the same hero and try to get better with.

Phoenix need a good team what support ur ult.
start phoenix dive behind ur ally in fights directly after ending dive go in ult and thats all

Hotkeys - Option active own hotkeys did u do that?

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that. I try to play as much as I can to get better. Only really been playing a few days online.

Oh I tried to change it actually in game, but you change it before game. Silly me. Hope it works now ty
