the internet connection i'm on is a hotels internet connection. i have no access to the modem/routers so i cant just reset it to change the ip like i would at home.

idk if its even possible to change the ip another way, but lmk. (

If you are able to reach modem configs, what you got to do is run cmd as administrator and type ipconfig/release
then open the conections folder on control panel and go to local connection or something and go to the tcp/ip thing, set a random ip and press ok
wait till it say u are connected, then go there again in the tcp/ip and put your real ip or the automatic configuration if that is what you got there.
then open cmd again and type ipconfig/renew

okay, when i try that and enter the random ip it wont connect to the internet at all, it says identifying..........unidentified network.
