I can think it's pretty hard now unless you play with people in the league itself.
You can try playing in the DXD league if it's still around and hopefully someone in the LDHL plays there and you can get to know them and impress them. That's how I got into the DXD-invite league (in early 07'), I played a lot with demon and he vouched me.
