opened all my ports turned off firewalls/did execptions within the firewalls..

and a bunch of other cock shit that didnt do anything

If you are using a router you need to forward ports 6112-6119 through to your computer.

Don't have to do all those
just go to options in main menu of wc3 and you can change it

Yeah you can change it, but it still has to be forwarded to your computer. Some people also experiance issues when trying to connect to games hosted on ports other than the default 6112.
