I think I found the solution to your problem.

Google war3.reg, go into the first link and download it to your warcraft3 folder, if it asks to change something, just say yes to all, from what I read, wc3 should work like a charm from now on.

I'm doing this for free by the way, do not want fgs, hope this works!

If you don't plan using your fgs, it's alright then, because I really don't use them anymore and if I want some I can pretty much have as much as I want.

BUT if you insist, sure.
