Waste of gold for something that doesn't do anything for you while ur ulti is activated.

He is support, remember whoever he is tethered to shares your hp/mp regen. If you use mek, the guy you're tethered too gets double healed. If you have a heart, he will get the bonus too.

hp/mp regen .. does lifesteal work also? XD

I'm not sure, but if hp/mp regen is coded as a change in hp/mp then it should work.
