my axe build is Boots of Travel, Scepter, Eye of Skadi, Blademail,Vangaurd,Basher thats my build for Moogul Khan Touch This. lol

starting out 2 stout and 6 tango
build 1 vanguard
buy dagger
make treads
finish other vanguard
blade mail
heart

Finish:
Power Treads
Heart
Blade mail
Vanguard
Vanguard
Blink Dagger


Vanguards are upgradeable as the game goes on, although game should be finished before you reach heart

2x vanguard is stupid ~~
i would build:
phaseboots/vanguard/dagger/blademail/hot/shiva
i start with stout+tango/salve, then ring of healthy/boots and if the farm is good at first dagger and vanguard after. phaseboots are better than pts and BoTs are too expensive imo.
then check the matchup and decide between hot, blademail or shiva

im pretty sure the 2 vanguards stack, yes, i play axe in dota w/ 2 vanguards as well. worked well for me in many situations, but it's your own preference......try different builds. you can't really play off someone else's build/ order of buying. >.>

You don't need two vanguard and they no longer stack. I'm not even sure if they've ever stacked but I know for sure that it doesn't now if you play any versions that's 2010

Bots is luxury boots and if you could get these, great.

Vanguards do not stack.

For a ganking build (i.e jungle axe ganking lane) you want to get boots asap

start with stout shield, tangos, salve, qb (if you want)

i recommend going fast phase boots if you're going to be ganking the lane a lot, if not just settle with boots and get a fast vanguard, from there get a blink dagger.

Boots Phase boots if not already done

From here you can choose from:
Blade Mail (Dmg return/armor)
Shivas (Armor/slow/mana)
Heart (HP)

With axes low mana pool, I usually go blade mail then shivas (blade mail gives a little int too :-) )
Then I just go for the heart, games over by then usually; I prefer damage return/armor though.

Also think about getting a hood if the team is heavy magic, you can substitute that with vanguard or simply get both.

2 Vangaurds Stack in a sense that the second time you buy it, basically, its half as good - technical stuff aside.

It all depends on the team you're facing

the rest isn't ALWAYS needed, it all depends. Vanguard, hood, radiance, shivas, BoT, diffusal (Diffusal rapes versus Omni for example)


and for the fucking idiots in this thread talking about vanguard, if anything just get a vanguard with a random stout in your invetory (if you have extra space) do not buy another fucking vanguard
