Assuming I want to play single player, what are some good custom maps to play that are NOT Tds. AI maps are fine as well.

Try Ancient Beast.

Sure, its not the best game, but it can be played by any amounts of people. (Monsters get tougher with more people)
Oh, and if you're playing by yourself, don't pick the spell nuker. Because its pure dps.

Heres a good site to find good rpg maps. Most can be played single player. The Legend of Magnador is very popular single player if I remember correctly. I don't have warcraft 3 anymore or I would have a maplist handy.
