This tournament is for 1v1 melee on warcraft three.
ALL GAMES will be hosted on MY BOT.

How it will be played:
Best of 3, single elimination.
Maps are random (my choice)
This can be ANY 1v1 or 2v2 map.

All games will be played on Azeroth, and all will have observers.
I may or may not PM a mediator to hold the FG. I will be purchasing the FG once I have seen some interest in it.
(Obviously no sense in buying FG if noone ends up playing.)

When it will be:
Monday, games will start at 3;00 PM Central US time.

How opponents will be decided:
I will pick at random from the list of people who sign up.

Prize: 260fg first place, I may or may not buy more FG for the 2nd place winner depending how many people show up.

For those who want to know exaclty how it will run, I'll list it out in steps for you.
1: You read this post.
2: You sign up by stating your JSP name and Acct name (@Azeroth!)
3: You will show up online exactly at 3:00 PM Central US, or a little earlier.
4: I will whisper you a game name (All games will be private, other contestants can obs, as well as my personal friends.)
5: The map will be my choice, 100% at random, all maps chosen will be fairly balanced to all races, example: Lost Temple will never be chosen.
6: You play vs the opponent I have selected for you.
7: If you win, you either follow the games, or wait until I have whispered you another game name.
8: When there is a winner, I will send them the FG, or if a Mediator is used, I'll have them send it etc.

this is my biggest concern. You cannot both choose a map and have it random. There are no maps that are "fairly balanced to all races". I would rather you decided on a map pool such as TM, TR, TS, AI, & SV, have the players strike maps one at a time until there is only 1 left, and that will be the first game. Then the loser gets to choose the 2nd map. If there is a 3rd game, loser of the 2nd game picks map.

Either way i'll probably play.

When I return from work later this evening I will release the pool of maps I will be choosing from.
As an FYI I leagued with a few different clans, as well as hit pro ladder two seasons in a row, I will not allow the players to pick the maps because frankly I get bored of watching the same shit 24/7.

You missunderstood that this is a SINGLE ELIMINATION tournament. There is no 2nd, or third game.
There's also no point in complaining, as it's being hosted/sponsored 100% by me. Noone is putting fg into it, and some1 will win 260.
So no matter what way you think of it, it's free FG.

Assuming you still play, that's 3 players, hopefully more will sign up b4 Monday.
