hon is more similar to dota than LoL

cartoony version of hon with crap grafics and much easier

you can win games easily with your knowledge of HoN (something like, dont tank creeps rofl)

You've prolly not played on the higher ELO then... Recommended is not always bad either...
LoL is not like Dota or HoN, its a completely different game but based on the Dota gameplay but still far from it.

League of Legends is really noob friendly in the start, but as you get higher level and your wins are far more than your loss you'll start meeting some real competition.
Also what I like about LoL is how fast a game can turn around, there's no perm stun heroes and its close to impossible to solo carry such as in Dota and HoN.
And a new hero arrives every ~2 week Its free, you can reconnect if you disconnect, lag free, and so on.

I would recommend this game for anyone who likes Dota or HoN, also try to not solo queue to much, I would recommend getting a team to play with because solo queuing will often lead to a loss... The matchmaking system in this game is the only thing that needs some improvement.
