basically it's a program that makes you have an active vlan connection (some small amount of reconnectablilty if you happen to d/c..... Since you connect via LAN you don't need a valid key, and it's a 100ms lat standard unlike the 250 standard on normal bnet host..) with some useless antihack functions added

pretty much, but afaik iccup have hostbots while the players are still responsible for hosting over ggc (unless you have a hostbot avaliable....)
