I wanna play Wintermaul Wars because my friend showed me it at his house and it was sick...

I have the game installed and all but do I need to download anything of somewhere or what? I barely ever even see the games up when I want and I saw one named Wintermaul and it wasn't joinable for some reason.

Can somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks again and don't flame me please :D

Are you playing TFT or RoC because TFT has better Wintermaul Wars.
The best WMW version I think personally is WMW TE 5 because of all the races and the new modes.

Before anything you need to download the 1.24c patch.
If you want to prevent getting kicked because of downloading go to

www.epicwar.com

It has all these maps that you can download if you type it in the search bar.
Remember to drag the map you download into the Warcraft III main directory Maps = Download file.

Ok uhmm thanks for the help but could you explain more about everything and try not using acronyms. I want to play it on Reign of Chaos and what does the patch do? How do I move it from the area that the map is to the directory and where should I place the map I am downloading?

WMW = Winter Maul Wars
ROC = Reign of Chaos
TFT = The Frozen Throne

Go to google and type in "Blizzard Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos Patch"
Then download the patch and use it.
Then go to Epicwar.com and type Wintermaul Wars in the search bar.
After you downloaded it, it should probably be on the desktop or where ever u put it.
After that you cut (Ctrl + X) the map you downloaded and go to

Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files > Warcraft III > Maps > Download

and paste the file into the Download folder.

After go to battle.net and find someone who can host or find a game in Custom Maps.

Go to epicwar.com and download some maps there
just host them if you can

save the maps in the download folder inside maps
