I would like to modify "Protect the house" but when I try, I receive error message like "bad version, can't edit" I don't know the translation in english (maybe: version of the map not compatible).

I usualy play this map with RoC, so I should modify it .... without tft ... isn't it? I heard some maps are protected by anti-modify or smthing like that

Means the map is protected, when you try to open it, it doesn't let you because it's protected. You'd have to ask the creator himself/herself for a deprotected copy, which he/she is unlikely to give. Also, trying to deprotect a map, will cause map corruption making it unplayable/lots of triggers/doodads/units/structures/terrain corrupted/broken/gone.

I really doubt that nothing can be done without asking to the creator.

This protection allow us to play but not to modify, I'm sure it require a program to do it. This is why I think that the protection may be reversible ...

Depends how deep map is protected there can cause some bigger problems.

Normally (95%) deprotecting the map will throw out clear JASS script.
For warcraft it doesn't matter if it will be in beautifull categories, rows, etc or in hard jass. However for you it matters I guess as it's hard to read anything from it.

Ok I found a way to reach what I want.

I want to know a tip, I want to write something that nobody (ally/enemis) can't read like -Kill noob".
