Paying large sums for xxx wins, seems ridicilous to me, the only thing you get is an icon, which you havnt even earned, you dont get any items/power ups or anything in the lines. You get a nice score and a nice icon, only problem it is not due to your skill.

Or is there some deeper logic i am unaware of?

I always tell girls I meet irl that I have a 500 win icon and am currently undefeated on Wc3 ladder.
