I recently started using clinkz alot on dota and this is the build i play with
3 wrath bands
vanguard
mkb
and hopefully butterfly near the end
after that i play it by ear

And suggestions on how to make it better? This build works for me all the time but there is always room for improvment

Depending on your enemy heroes , you can build diffirent builds. In pub game if your playing against casters , you can simply get band/phase(6.63) + orchid staff ( if you can farm it fast) , then you can simply go for crits , like buri or smth. Vanguard is useless , and with orchid btw you can spam your ult on neutrals to farm by CD.

if you're farming well early midas, i would say phase boots now since treads are more of a supports item. if you're dieing a lot get ogre axe for bkb if not just go mkb, either way your items should be this:

Midas(If you farm it before 9 minutes)
Phase boots
Ogre axe (if you're dieing a lot)
MKB
BKB
heart or butterfly depending on the situation. Crit is also good.

this of course doesn't have your early game starting stats + regen, but it's a basic item guide.. people may have variations of this build but this is probably best

I'd actually be tempted to grab treads on clinkz. He can use the str and being able to swap for major int boost is always handy for death pact.

midas waste of money now

HoT sucks too now

nothing about midas is changed in a while now, HoT is still pretty good. not sure what kind of dota you play.

Midas pays for itself if you get it early enough. It's not like he's going to be doing much early game besides farming, anyways.

Really, the only reason Clinkzs grabs HoT is so he doesn't get instant giebed. It's not like the regen helped him to begin with, as he can just pact to heal right back up.

Start with:
3 branches
1x potion
1x clarity
1x tango


FIrst core item: Skadi (go for ulti orb->point booster -> ulti orb -> skadi recipe) (skadi stacks with fire arrow.)
treads
buriza
butter
heart
mkb/rapier

Skill build:
1,3,5,7 Fire arrow
2,4,8,9 Wind Walk
10,12,13,14 Increase Speed SKill
6,11,16 Ulti

Build allows survivability, easy hunting due to early wind walk (you can pick ppl off), you can chase much easier thx to skadi.

Skadi = core item. THe reason isbecause it allows you to spam your ulti, which lets you stay pretty much inside the map for 15 minutes at a time. ALso, it slows, letting you chase. Also gives life, which = awesome. You're thinking, where's the dps. You do not need any at this point in game. Don't think this is a stupid build. Try it out first. I haven't lost a single game (in pub/league/tourny/scrim) with this build. Ignore ppl who tell you to get early damage/speed/etc. LIfe/mana will ultimately allow you to farm 2x faster, as well as to survive. This allows helps counter dust/ward. Just cause they won't be able to kill you within the ward range/12 second dust.
