He's right. Stats are far more important than having just a bottle to start. It should probably be your first pick up though. I believe he already did share his build; it's pretty standard, although I'm not convinced that blink dagger is necessary anymore. I find it to be more of a nice luxury item. It seems to me that it's just a tag along item from previous eras. It still works, and it's nice; but, I find that it becomes more of an escape tool than anything else in a lot of games, despite it's potential offense purposes.

You can build him in a variety of ways, but this tends to be the most common.

I have a 1v1 sf thread up.

If you can beat me with bottle first item, I'll gladly pay double the wager. so bet 50 for the game, you win, I'll pay 100 if you bottle first item.

SF cannot cs extremely well - Even if you're the above average player, even TDA players, or some public players nowadays, understand when they can deny their creeps judging by their damage.

Your SF at lvl 1 does like 38-47 damage, no bonus with necro mastery. If I laned vs you with any hero that does 40-50+, it'd be easy cs - say WD vs SF.

WD does over 50+ average base dmg from what I know. Or around there. basically, WD can kill a creep 3 hits before death - sf cannot.

So go ahead and post in my challenge thread if you're up for it!

Edit: People think Bottle is only good when you have rune control. Extremely untrue. lol

In competitive games, at least 4 players bottle. AT least 4. And there are observer wards at runes too. The competition for rune = extremely heavy. Yet, have you wondered why they bother?
