I go:

2x bracer
Helm of the Dominator
Armlet of Mordiggan
Assault Currias
Sometimes BkB if they have bitch team.

Seems to work well.
If I feel like having fun I swap out armlet for Desolator. Vlad instead of HoD then.

For a carry Slar? Meh...I'm not a huge fan of basher carries now just because of how much farm it takes to be effective.

I would say Phase for sure. The positioning you get for your stun is great.
2-3 bracers, yep.
Armlet yep.
I'd say Cuirass or Heart next, BKB situational as always.

For ultra luxury...Deso is really situational. -armor gets less effective after a certain number, only an option if you go Heart over Cuirass, preferable for a nuke heavy team. Of course, with some kind of heavy armor Agi carries, the extra -armor is good. Other than that, Satanic or HotD/Buriza combo could work. Dagger for situational use maybe, for initiating and chasing if needed.

I personally would go:

-Phase Boots
-Double Bracer
-Hood*
-Curiass
-Heart
-Blink Dagger

*Optional, depending only on wether or not the other team has a lot of intelligence based heroes.

Well there isn't really a standard build. There's four different races, and it depends on the matchup (whether it's RT or AT, whether it's solo or not).

Fucking specify if you're talking DotA. This is a Warcraft 3 section, DotA is just one small branch.

Huh? did you misread? He said Slardar Build, not standard build. And with the items he listed, its quite clear he's talking about DotA.

The typical build is something like 2-3 bracers, treads, armlet, after that is just luxury, assault/heart/bkb, depending on need, probably bkb. Typically you want armlet first, as slardar wants the huge damage, which synergies with his ulti so well. Helm of iron will is also a great laning item and can be sideshopped. You'd only get HotD first if you needed a stunner; Slardar doesn't need a centaur to set up, and it doesn't mesh well with his playstyle as a chaser.

Phase boots= Useless, if you want to catch/chase an enemy use sprint. That's what it's there for.
Hood=Waste of time. Slardar = Str Based Hero, therefore tanking most of the hits and killing intel nukers i.e: Zeus, Lion, Etc In no time.
Blink Dagger= No. Why would you waste that much gold just to blink in and land 1 stun. It's better to learn when and how to stun in times and situations. In major ganks/fights everyone or someone will be near you thus easy to hit with Slithereen Crush.
