you have to download something called EverCraft

here is a download link.
it's a tool to automaticaly switch versions of WC3 , i dont rly know how to explain , there must be a readme.txt file in the zip.

you can also move you wc3 folder (rename it) , reinstall WC3 and go to the FTP of blizzard and download the patches (search on google : ftp blizzard warcraft patch , first link [thats how i did when i needed a patch])

Ever-Craft isnt properly updated anymore. Ive also got a Java based app if Zei doesnt work for you or you wanna patch on your Mac. The online mirror is down, but i can re-upload it if wanted.

download dotazilla and you're good to go, not complicated and no other programs necessary

dota zilla is amazing to it
i did it my self yesterday, it converts all your replays to a new version, its going quite fast

replayconverter is less buggy than dotazilla though.
