I'm a fan of all Blizzard games, and I've tried this game a long time ago and thought it was fun. Is it too late to pick it up (will I just be too far behind) or is it always going to be a great pick-up?

Also, do people legitimately sell CD keys in here, or are they all just scams?

It's against the rules to sell cdkeys, so even if you are scammed, jsp can do nothing about it. I'd just buy it in a store, or online through the blizzard store. Also, if you plan on buying it to play dota, you can just download it and play it on Garena. There are tons of games up there.

Ladder is dead, but, there are tons of custom games that are pretty enjoyable for you to play. Definately worth buying.

Well I'm considering deleting WoW because it's just not enjoyable, and getting back (somewhat) into D2, and maybe playing a little WC3 aswell.

What it be best to just buy the battle chest (which is pretty cheap), or download what ever it is you're talking about?

Edit: I think I may have played escl D2 with you before.

Can anyone tell me exactly what dota is?

I hear so much about it, and its pvp aspect...but I'm not really sure what you do.

Warcraft is dead. d2 is dead. sc is dead.

sc2/d3/wc4 is where it's at.

but if you're looking into picking up a game, i HIGHLY recommend "Left 4 Dead"

best game ever created, and very cheap (25$ on steam)

That's not what I was asking.

I don't want a FPS, I've always had a soft spot for Blizzard games.

Warcraft 3 is like steroids.

People on it vouch for it, but people who used to play it can tell it's bad by observing the people jacked up on it.

Play it if you want to become a trash talking noob who e-rages and starts fights over nothing to increase the internal size of your e-peen.

I played wow, it got boring as hell, and i wasted countless hours for nothing, I stopped playing computer games all together for about 4 months. I then started playing a little wc3.

The thing i love about wc3 is you can stop really easily. It's just like boom 1 game gets done in 1 hour- 30mins, you have no leveling, no raids, no gear to sell. You can play it and have a life outside the box. But there are those of us that still become just as addicted to wc3 as people are addicted to wow which ruins the point and you shouldn't allow yourself to play if you can't set boundaries.

Anyways if you want to skip all that, buy the game, play dota, and enjoy it.

Also, about dota, it's like a super mini diablo/wow game in 30mins-hour. Relatively simplistic, yet still complex enough to make you want to play it and it's still updated regularly which is quite nice
