the topic above confused me and i also don't know my password or user name for century tel internet anymore. how can i fix this shit!?!???

i have a router, i think. i have a box with the internet cable going to the wall then a usb cable connecting the box to my computer. i don't know how to forward these ports though.

go to command prompt
type in ipconfig
enter your gateway into your address bar
add wc3 to the applications list

every router is different, you're going to need to look up your router in google

start -> run

if i type in the ipconfig like the one guy said the black box pops up, says some shit and closes down before i can type anything.

once i click run the black box pops up, what should i type into that

i have centurytel dsl, so would i type like :centurytel router into the google bar or something? if someone could look it up that would be great cause i've been trying to figure this shit out for like 3 days.
