With the new Warcraft 3 patch the lastest version of the Dota AI isn't showing up...
Anyone know what is up?

happening to me too

you can get the newest version to show up if you move the file to the test file or a different one

but it wont allow other people to join if your going to play with a friend or something, it boots them instantly for some reason

Bummer. Yeah I don't like the AI version. Just trying 2 help a friend learn the game / memorize recipes, etc.
So no way known so far how 2 play it w/ others?

nope, not till they release a new version. wait it out, should be a few days.

I assume it has 2 do with:

- Fixed an exploit where an altered custom map would be seen identical to the original custom map.

no, that is a separate issue, the AI maps should still work single player, just not on bnet until the next version is released.

that was to keep someone from hacking a dota map for example, then hosting a game, and it appeared as if it was a regular "safe" map.

But the problem is due 2 the new patch right?

make the map name shorter and it will work

either this or put them in your map folder and not map/download
