better then dota that suck

There are only 2 things that make dota better than hon - better competitive teams and more heroes. I think HoN right now is better balanced then Dota because almost every hero is at least somewhat involved in the metagame.

Plus its making people play SO much better. Once you get to a decent Rating you will pretty much NEVER see a game where your team doesnt start with 1-2 sets of wards, a courier, solid lanes with a carry babysit/solid mid solo who rune whores and an offensive support lane or something like that. The game play is just at such a higher levels even in random pubs...

That said they're trying to improve the DotA heroes that are useless and try to make them see daylight into competitive environment. One change I can not agree with is the recent buff to Pyromancer's (Lina) fervor skill. I strongly believe he did not need that stakin dot damage at all.

i played dota for a long ass time, and i got to say the only thing i really miss are my favorite heroes

if hon brings back all or most of the heroes, it will be 10/10, there are just to many gg features that make it impossible to go back to dota

Absolutely, basically the game is the same all it needs is the larger hero pools that DotA has and like you mentioned, possibly more DotA hero ports. People who says HoN is shit have obviously never gave it a try or didn't feel like learning the hero names and items again.
