Against good people, mabye PA with his skill to last hit. Void lol, NO! Against anyone good he would get tore apart. He has nothing to contribute to the team besides his ult. You cant combo with him @ all.

Wow. You never have played a real game then. Void has high base damage and he can wreck shit up once he gets an MoM. Theres a reason why Void is considered one of the best carries in the game. You're concentrating on the 1v1 battles. Of course Void alone can't do shit against a 5 man team but once you include real support heroes like Lion, Lion, TC, etc his ult is amazing. He can finish off heroes easily and thats how a team works. YOU FEED YOUR CARRY TO WIN. Time walk in, Chrono, take out main disable(s), team jumps in and thats game.

And I laugh at previous pages saying oh I get Buriza on Puck, so GG DPS puck. You guys been playing way too much 1v1 / em. Puck doesn't suck late game, thats when he shines with his silence and disable. Dota is a team game, 1v1 threats don't count for shit. Slark is also very imbalanced right now (kid who said Slark sucks at 1v1 your a fucking idiot, 1v1 doesn't mean shit)

Also I have to add, ratio / # of kills don't matter for shit in Dota. Just because you didn't get your beyond godlike with Puck doesn't mean your getting the wrong items. You perform the tasks that your team REQUIRES you to do, not jump in and randomly last hit with your orbs. Reading these posts shows who is playing -apem.

There is no best hero.
It all depends on the player.
Everything in Dota is situational. Your team, items, micromanagement, even down to where you click on the map for various circumstances.
Depending on the players skill level, a techies could beat a dragon knight etc.
Obviously people with similar skill levels will depend more on micromanagement and character choice for the outcome of the game.

My personal favorites (not best characters) are Spectre, Phantom Lancer, Dark Seer, and Sven.
