I played the most recent version, same game, just newer heroes, some useless, some overpowered.

Try playing actual competitive, and no I don't mean getting some shitty team together and playing some other shitty team. I mean actually getting to a high level in DotA where you play against the best in the world.

And yes I was talking to you, and no you're wrong again just because it has some of the same mechanics doesn't make it the same game. It's two completely different ideas. One based on team work, quick decision making, strategy, and minor micro ability. While the other is based on strong micro and macro, majority solo play in the competitive scene, and also is a lot of cookie cutter match ups.
