Guys I'm new to dota, how can I get better?

I usually like to choose characters like Stealth Assassin and get to lvl 6 so I can become invisible forever. I lurk in the shadows waiting for a weak opponent, then I strike with my Satyr blades of death. They pierce your flesh and your soul, you drop dead leaving a loot of gold as my prize for my conquest over you.

We're talking actually skilled leagues, such as dota pride, not SIG or any dota league garbage (other then F4F, pick league division1-2)

mmm, but still those are better than pubs

leagues ARE garbage. thats all there is to it. watched dota pride, it was pathetic to say the least.
