I honestly don't know why Harb isn't up there.

Harbinger has been tried as carry hero quite a lot of times, and yes he can do it, but he tends to have problems in highly skilled games... I for sure wouldn't put him on a list of best carry heroes

#2 crapy on lane
#3 really lategame for owange
#4 bad for ganking

You posted some obvious points and some wrong ones^^

yes he is "paper"
he's not at all necessarily bad on lane. For instance he is capable of soloing mid
yes he is a late game hero
yes he's not a very good hero for ganking, but that's not really very important for a carry hero anyway

#2Great laner, hard harrass + sexi aura
#3If farmed correctly really late game ownage
#4Orb walk? 4 Sec disable? Ultima ulti? Aura ftw?

#3 pro dota has changed, games are much shorter. the sooner your carry can actually carry the better now
