dont know where you read that but the maphack community on garena is huge and it's becomming a bigger and bigger problem. Many people in the ban reports forums adress maphack as a too common hack to put effort into stopping. I still love the high level rooms though, no leavers and quality games.

if you can establish yourself to finding a dedicated team and scrimming you're better than like 99.99% of the dota players out there already. And TBH most players should be happy to have even reached that level... because hitting that next .01% is exponentially harder than anything else.
