There is a football videogame called W.a.L.K. Football. It's a custom game on warcraft 3 useast that features competitive gameplay in 4vs4 matches.

The game is played with 2 wide receivers, 1 runningback and 1 quarterback per team. It is mirrored so that defense your quarterback becomes linebacker, runningback safety and wide receivers become cornerbacks.
This game is extremely fun and competitive, if you like football and football strategy games, then this is for you.
The quarterback also has control of 3 linemen with 2 non-used linemen on each side of his 3 linemen that neutral players can observe games as.
the 2 linemen on each side of the quarterbacks 3 linemen are usually players that watch the game and wait to be swapped in/out as the quarterback see's fit.
for example linemen#1 gets switched with runningback or either wide receiver because that wide receiver/runningback is doing poorly or just out of courtesy during halftime.
