i changed my routers ip and made a new account, doesnt work... im using a cisco router

then you didint change your ip

how do you do it then? because i went to the cisco advance settings and beside where it says ip address i changed it. i looked at local area connections afterwards and it says my ip address is the one i changed it to... so i dont know

normally its a matter of just turning your router on / off

if not you can get some global IP changing program or use a VPN. but just resetting router and waiting 10 mins should do it
