just bull, it's got max distance treshold before it just does 0 dmg (2500 range iirc, at lvl 3 it's 600 or 625 max dmg..), back before tps got changed and ench had the broken spear at lvl 1 you could however do the instakill bullshit with 400 pure dmg spear on lvl 1. It just wasn't needed to have a fix for absurd distance throws unlike what could have potentially happened when someone tp away from a spear ever since tps got changed now . . .
