I rather play inv as supporter/disabler so i usually play Q/W or W/Q. E/Q for easy games.

often in pubs you'll get slaughered as disabler / assist, as people won't assist you.

how can you even tell ur oppinnion when you pick ur hero?

i mean im a randomer, and a real randomer, im bored of people that pick always the same heroes and shit talk me lol, wow u can go 5-0 on riki or bh omg? but can u random? no?? ewww ur gonna sucks in CW.

comon guys, just as of today, start doing -random and learning heroes, dont ask other for builds, if u ave a brain and some dota experience u'll make ur own builds, like me heh, when slark came out i was going poor man shield boot and MoM straight, people said i was noob i needed tread and poor man shield sucks but now every one use that build... anyways

invoker dude i cant tell you go emp nado or sumons  ice wall but man it depends on the other team... depends circumstance... u cant ave a perfect build for all situation xD

What's the point in commenting here if you obviously don't have the slighest clue yourself? "I bought poormans shield and MoM for slark", yes poormans shield is great for slark but where does the MoM help you? It gives you more attackspeed indeed but if your opponents had a brain they would focus you with dust. If you now activate MoM you will die nearly instantly. Getting hp for slark and a dagger is so much better, allows you to gank and stay alive. "Poorman -> Treads -> Vitality -> Dagger -> vanguard".

Furthermore the snap+summons build is the most commonly used, the EMP+Tornado aint used as much in public games. Mostly because people don't know how to make the combo work good. I have a few more things to add regarding invoker and here it is:

- Invoker is not all about 2 spells, if you had some experience with him you would know that with a aghanims scepter the cooldowns fall so hard that it allows you to spam all sorts of spells. If you go hp on invoker the Exo is best in the beginning, because if you rush vanguard you get hp regeneration from the vanguard and therefore you don't need regen-orb earlygame. IF you want to rush aghanims you after treads/phaseboots you should consider going EMP+Tornado as first spells, having the EMP for teamfights is priceless, furthermore tornado can counter heropicks such as enigma and other blink intiators.

- Invoker is only strong if you have memorized all combos in the head, else you will end up using 2 spells all game and that sucks to be honest.

So here are the builds I believe are best;

Early hp invoker:
- Fast stick
- Stout shield
- Get phaseboots or treads, depending on what you prefer
- Get vanguard
- I prefer going hex now, but you could also do aghanims scepter.

- Abuse the fact that you have high base damage, stay on the lane as much as possible in the early game, using the exort to outfarm your enemies.
- Have coldsnap ready if someone will gank with you.
- Ghostwalk for survivbility is also a good idea, but if they have dust skip it.
- Tell your teammates to give you info about low hps, have sunstrike ready. Pracise this spell until you can time it properly, else it's useless.

Fast aga invoker:
- Fast stick
- Fast treads (Strength)
- Point booster
- Finish agha
- Hex or euls scepter is useful

- Don't spam spells in early game here since they're rather useless in the beginning. Wait for W and Q to get a bit high.
- Always cast EMP then Tornado, then fast switch to other preferred spells. This leads your enemies mostly without mana, but they're also unable to dagger into fight if hit by tornado.
- Ghostwalk is good to have memorized, it's a useful spell if you want to survive.

Pub-stomp invoker:
- Fast Stick
- Fast treads

Now you can go what ever damage item you want. Else you should get a vanguard here to survive.

- Get coldnap and summons.
- Focus on E and Q instead of W.
- Abuse the fact that your base damage exceeds any of your enemies, well in most of the cases.
- Have fun!
