Assuming you have no rune control and didn't see someone grab a rune, you deserve to die.

So when I camp the rune at 1:50, you're telling me you can grab it before I do? It's also a random gamble.

As I've explained, it's solely who intends to sacrifice more time for the gamble. And if I get it, you really can't do anything.

You can try to prove me wrong.

Crow can either camp it with you and snag it before you can, or if it spawns the other side burst allows me to get the rune first. Either way, you're losing experience.

Either way, you lose early game gold and early game dps.

It's 1v1 SF. You want to try crowing me at lvl 1, please do so, and we'll see the results?

edit: there's so much else wrong with this theory that I'd like to show you in game with a 1v1 matchup, where you try crow rushing the rune before me. let me know if you want to test.

I would much rather demonstrate through actions than tell you, seeing as how you're very confident that I'm doubtful to be even hoping to contend
