I think that it takes good teamwork above all, but it also requires individual skill.

Go solo middle in a clan war and try to CS against a good player who has good micro, then go tell me that it requires no skill.

Or, try to play a support hero buying wards all game and trying to stay alive with only boots / 2x bracer.
