Invoker is mad easy. CM is one of the toughest heroes to play, along with lina and other shitty animation heroes that are used competitively. Start with VS, she's pretty simple. If you don't mind melee, there are a bunch of heroes you can use like sven and sk.

She's rather slow too, easy gank target, lots of retards tend to feed with her. It doesn't help that she has terrible base damage, too. And her skills are made so that most retards will only 1-2 in aura, and max bite/aura asap.

invoker is easily one of the hardest heroes to master, simply because of the variety of combos he can pull off. think about it, you can cast two spells, then invoke two different ones, and cast those, so on and so forth. need to be able to memorize all the spells, and then figure out when/where to use them.

example: you have meteor and sun strike as your two spells, but you are being chased by avernus and you are on red hp. he is going to 1 hit you, so you need to invoke your ghostwalk spell ASAP. do you remember it? nope, you die...

in pubs he is just used as a meteor spammer. i rarely see him in competitive games because he is in fact the hardest hero to use IMO. all the rest have 4 skills... he has a huge combination.

Seriously? There are like 10 spells, the combinations are not complex or hard at all. You don't even have to add them in specific orders, just have the 3 you need and invoke. It's not hard. The hardest thing about him is remembering the fucking hotkeys for the spells, not the needed components.

If you seriously can't remember a few combinations, you need to go back to gradeschool. He has imba base damage, perfect animation, multiple escape mechanisms. He's not hard.

if you want to learn an easy character, test these out. Sniper has only two skills, one of them being a farming tool gotten late game (usually) He is fragile, requires some teamwork to be effective, but he can control a lane real well early to mid, and become a killer later. simple skills. for melee, skeleton king has one skill as well, his stun. not a lot to keep track of with him except how much mana you have to make sure your ultimate will go off if you happen to die. easy hero to learn with, and he is usually welcomed in pub matches.

just my advice. i learned with sniper a loooong time ago...

Stupid idea. In addition to learning sniper being a complete waste of time, he is extremely fragile and easily killed.

I agree with that. Sk or sven are better choices.

i said he is fragile. only reason i would recommend him is a) he is ranged, and long range at that, and cool.gif he has an easier time last hitting/denying, to teach a new person how/when to last hit/deny. however in pubs sniper can go on sprees, because pubs do not co-ordinate ganks very effectively.

i learned with sniper. and sure, i fed a bunch my first few games. but every new person is going to feed at some point, its a given. then i learned to not push alone, to get some sort of escape tool (boots of travel, lothars, etc) and to stick with a teammate most of the time to be effective.

sven and skele king are also good choices, just some people prefer a range vs melee...
