this. vista's bare minimum is 1g, it really should be changed to 2g just to do most simple things.

memory is cheap. you can get 2gigs for $50 or less, probably can find 3GB for that price on newegg.com.

I'm running xp on my 1G
and my roommate is running is running vista with 4G
sry for the misunderstanding, but either way they still spike.

I tried reducing the resolution, it's still as bad and all my graphic controls are set to the minimum cry3.gif

doesnt happen to me on my laptop. and its 4gigs ram w/ vista & dual core processor.
