the fact there are new heroes and thus a new challenge to learn.. having played dota for ages it does get a bit repetetive and theres not much diversity anymore

It is not a challenege. It is almost an exact replica of DotA, with minor changes, therefore not DotA, therefore bad. It would be much better if it were so close to DotA, however it's not close enough to DotA neither far away enough to be any good. The game is just terrible in general. If you're going to replicate a game, you either go all the way, or make a different game with the gameplay based on a previous game, you can't have both.
