Honestly, most guides are inaccurate/out of date. They don't often cover a lot of basic concepts and necessary/common adaptations that occur in games.

As to which one is better, many are comparable. They all have a lot of the same pub trash ramblings. What you'd find more useful is highly dependent on what you're looking for in a site. Those already mentioned are very similar in quality.

Pretty much all DotA sites are full of low-mid skill nobodies who think they are high skill and only know how to talk big. With a few exceptions, guides tend to be pubbish and even then, not even optimal for pubbing (which honestly is what most people do anyway).

You don't need guides. The best thing, imo, is to learn about the mechanics of different abilities and items, and from there, asses the strengths and weaknesses of each hero on your own, and formulate your own builds from that. After you familiarize yourself with the game and the heroes, it becomes obvious who is item dependent and who is not, and what items improve upon a heroes strengths or cover for its weaknesses.

That being said, some guides can be useful, like the guides for general lane control, warding, and mind games that can be found on dota-allstars. The hero guides, however, are generally worthless.
