just open with stargate and once the terran's getting enough liberators get tempests and never ever lose against terran ever (May have some trouble getting them after this nerf though.)
now at least terran will have a chance early and mid game while it doesn't have any lategame.
you just can't get enough ghosts with vikings with liberators and not die if the protoss doesn't suck major dick.

It's just a test map, might not actually happen. Personally I hope this doesn't happen because then banelings won't be as effective. Someone posted a suggestion to lower the adepts damage by 1 which would make them 3 shot marines and scvs early game without upgrades but still 2 shot drones/lings and David Kim commented on the reddit post that he liked the idea. So hopefully they do that.

it doesn't make too much sense though that protoss has two tanky early game units
however making adept 3 shot stuff will make it quite useless imo.

I don't think making the adept another unit that requires 0 brain activity to deal with is a good solution. If they do this, terran players will simply make marauders when they see adepts. They are useful at the beginning of the game when you are the most spread out with the least amount of units. If you can just open with a few marauders every game with concussive shells and you're fine then you're completely eliminating possible builds and micro situations. Marauders will just shred them.

I understand that adepts are difficult to deal with and create situations with lopsided expectations (it's a lot easier to send adepts to each mineral line than it is to follow the shades and predict where they'll go) but that's all over the place in Starcraft. It's what separates the newbs from the pros. Terran drops, ling runbys, early pool builds, proxy rax, oracle/muta/banshee harrass, etc, etc. All of these things are much easier to execute than they are to effectively defend without taking unreasonable losses.

At least if they 3 shot workers, the potential for economic damage will be less, but still possible if the skill gap is big enough, without affecting the mid-late game. I'm not even convinced Terran needs a change at all considering what I deal with regularly without a wall but if Blizzard insists on doing this, they should do what Bunny suggested.

Also, changing them from light to armored completely removes the possibility of using banelings against them in PvZ. So, this idea that making them armored wouldn't affect PvZ is just wrong.

So far they've nerfed Protoss in every potential patch.

Kind of Funny.

I really feel like if they go through with Pylon Nerf, PvZ is going to be REALLY FUCKING HARD.
Adept nerf is weird. I don't do these wonkie all ins so I don't care. And adepts don't make up my core. The damage nerf affects my style more as I like to do a prism drop but, what can you do.

What's sad is that they give us units with harrass potential and then take them away so quick.
Meanwhile for MONTHS we had broken as fuck shit all over the place.

TBH I don't even see adepts being that insane, Mines are good vs them. Cyclones/viking is good vs the Prism early on when it's a problem.
If you're nervous early game, you can make a bunker~

I understand the Pylon rush thing is strong in conjunction with adepts.
I guess we will see. I expect protoss to suck even more if these changes go through.
