Hi, I'm looking for a coach or streamer to learn from that plays Terran. Hopefully this person can macro like MVP, micro like MarineKing and multitask like MMA. Does this mythical person exist?

Thanks

Come on, how could you forget a person like that. His mmr was the highest, he was matching all the pros, including this Polt character Adam mentioned.
Although Derek, if he even for a second ignored the fact that you were a zerg player all this time, I don't think it would work out. I recall observing some games where the two of you played a couple friendlies and he would always slam you really bad with minimal effort. You have to face the fact that your limited zerg comprehension isn't enough to even remotely grasp the extent of his play.

Of course I remember IMBAoracle, but he doesn't play this game anymore. When he streamed I learned a great deal, but he hasn't in years.

I imagine that if all you do is win all the time and when your opponents fail to challenge you in any way the game gets boring. I can't relate to this since I play Protoss but thats probably what the case was.

How dare you simplify his success down to his choice of playing Terran. Do you truly believe Protoss wouldn't have been the strongest race in wings instead of Terran if IMBAoracle had chosen to play Protoss?

Oh Derek, no. You completely misunderstood my post. Back when IMBAOracle played, Zerg was the strongest by far, followed by Protoss and then Terran at the end. Terran was the weakest race, that's why he chose to play it. I remember how badly he had to outplay his zerg opponents cause the race was/is just so imbalanced. It may be selfish of me to say this but I wish that he had remained here for all the loyal fans that he had. I'm pretty sure if he was here for just a little longer, the entire forum would be on top of the leaderboards with everything that we could have learned from him.

Terran won the most premiere tournaments in WoL and that was due to genius and innovator playing the race, IMBAoracle. He didn't even play on Korea but the handful of games he did and the small amount of video streams uploaded to twitch gave the koreans study material that took them years to digest. There's a reason terran dropped off towards the end of wings. Most people will say it's because of broodlord/infestor but I believe it's because of IMBAoracle's hiatus from the game. There's no doubt in my mind that if he was still around I would be a top contender myself.
