Has anybody else noticed a bit of lag in their cursor (as if you had less than 60fps) when playing Brood War on newer operating systems (Windows 7 and up)?

Not sure if I just didn't notice the cursor lag before or if I have grown used to games that are built for higher frame rates, etc.

Note: I have tried compatibility settings, changing my mouse settings in control panel and via my mouse drivers. It's not a hardware issue, it's either a compatibility or 'I never noticed this before' sort of thing. Just wondered if anybody else has experienced this?

ive experienced this with D2...it's like a weird mouse lag.

it doesnt happen in windowed mode, but it happens in full screen for me...

There must be some fix/workaround out there but I dunno ;(

Yeah, I know what you're talking about with Diablo 2. I know what we deal with in full screen Diablo 2 is referred to as Mouse Acceleration. It's a common setting in modern games, but for some reason it is always enabled in full screen Diablo 2. Windowed mode fixes it though because it goes by your desktop cursor or something. Not sure.

Can use certain programs to run BW in widowed mode. Not sure if we can talk about that stuff here but it can be easily googled.
