i was mid masters for 3 seasons right before the end of WoL and then mid-lowish master (not really active during this time) start of HotS.

I pick up the game now and i get placed into silver, go 30-2, promoted to platinum and now im getting my dick stomped by these shitty plats with 50% win rate and 80 apm.

I play zerg, have an avg apm of 160 (usually higher when im losing goes up to at least 170). i know apm doesn't mean shit it but i feel i'm not facing equally mechnically skilled players but simply getting rekt by these build orders i've never seen before.

I still do ling/roach/hydra vs protoss, i 15 hatch every game without taking much economical dmg even against fast reaper into hellion harass which happens a lot to me vs terran. and vs zerg i have no problems

is there some kind of trick to winning? I don't dabble much in the new HOTS units except for an occasional viper to pull collosi and i play macro games every single game

i feel protoss is easy for me to beat it's the damn terran

watch Life's replays, learn some builds so u know how to counter them

League distribution changed a little, like low masters and sometimes mid master are in diamond right now since there's less room in master and people that don't play that much too is in bad leagues ;d
