So just started starcraft 2. I am bronze league and pretty clueless. About 1 hour into it. First match was vs a guy more clueless than me and that was an easy game. However, the second game I had was vs a gold player. I got destroyed. Match after that was vs a platinum player. Wtf is going on? Is the Starcraft matchmaking system just incredibly bad or is it just my luck? Should 2/3 of my matches be vs players 2-3 leagues higher than me?

Just don't think about it man...just play games. After ~100 games it will be very clear where you are and you'll realize those placements didn't really mean much. You really don't want to get lucky and get gold only to get slowly demoted to silver lol.

I never said I was good. I said I wanted to face bronze players. I just got the game and don't know anything about any of the races, and it is only placing me against gold and platinum players every game. The matchmaking system is broken.

I don't know where you guys are getting the impression that i'm saying I should be higher league?

maybe youre better than bronze and are playing where you belong? just instaleave 20 games to tank your mmr if you care that much.

Not a lot of bronze players play frequently. That's why you're placed against gold/plat players.
